[Software] New version of R installation scriptAuthor: Sajoscha - Published At: 16-11-2015 10:09 - (1438 Reads)
Following the lately created script to easily install new versions of R, we updated the procedure to make it even easier and a lot quicker.
You can download the latest script here: https://git.embl.de/scholtal/R-stuff
To make the script (install_r_latest_withsepp.sh) run, you have to be on a server that has /g/software mounted. This is needed because we now installed the dependencies on SEPP. This prevents the re-installation of the needed packages every time you run the script.
The installed packages & tools are:
- Curl (7.45.0)
- ZLib (1.2.8)
- BZip2 (1.0.6)
- XZ (5.2.2)
- pcre (8.37)
- Texinfo (6.0)
